TBF Film Screening - Minneapolis

The Black Foxes - Raequan - will host a screening of The Black Foxes (2021) Short Film at Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota! The live screening, discussion of the film, and Q&A will take place on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 8:00 PM CT at 416 Cedar Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN, 55454. Entry is free, but you must RSVP via Eventbrite to attend due to limited seating.

DOORS OPEN AT 7PM CT. SCREENING BEGINS AT 8PM CT. Come early to socialize!

VENUE ACCESSIBILITY: All of the venue’s seated shows have general admission, and first-come-first-served seating. They are happy to reserve seats and spaces for patrons who are in wheelchairs or who require special seating accommodations. If you have any questions about The Cedar’s accessibility or would like to make a seating request, please contact their box office at 612-338-2674 or info@thecedar.org at least 24 hours in advance of the show. The Cedar has installed a single-unit, all-gender, ADA accessible restroom near the front entrance of the venue to accommodate patrons of all needs.

ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION:

For cycling:

  • Via the Hiawatha LRT Trail. Exit the trail at 15th Ave S and head NE towards the Mississippi River. Continue onto S 4th St and turn right onto Cedar Ave. Venue is on your right.

  • Via West River Parkway. Exit at S 4th St south of the University of Minnesota. Head west. Left onto 19th Ave. Right onto Riverside Ave. Left onto Cedar Ave. Venue is on your right.

For public transportation:

  • Light Rail Blue Line: From Cedar-Riverside Station, follow So. 6th Street one block east to Cedar Ave. Take a left and walk one and a half blocks north to The Cedar.

  • Light Rail Green Line: From West Bank Station, head west on Washington Ave SE. Turn left to access Cedar Avenue, and head south on Cedar (approx 0.2 mile). The Cedar will be on your right.

ORDER OF EVENTS:

7:00 PM - Doors open for purchasing beverages and socializing

8:00 PM - Program begins

8:45 PM - Q&A w/ The Black Foxes and Open Discussion

9:30 PM - Program ends

10:00 PM - Theatre closes

*concessions are limited to beverages (non-alcoholic and alcoholic). You may bring your own snacks to enjoy but please refrain from foods that create noise.
